Meet the Speakers

James Caradonna

General Manager, Pricing Americas | M+R

For James Caradonna, the Transpacific Trade is literally in his DNA. James has spent his entire 24-year career holding various positions within both the Liner and NVOCC sectors. He started and spent most of his career in Asia, first in sales and marketing with start-up Trans-Pacific Lines in the late 1990s before occupying transpacific trade and pricing management roles with Exel Global Logistics and DHL Global Forwarding.

In 2005, James crossed back over to the liner side, spending seven years with French line CMA CGM in Hong Kong as its Deputy Vice President of Transpacific. Since 2013, James has served as General Manager, Pricing Americas at M+R Forwarding, helping to engineer its emergence as a Top 15 NVOCC in the transpacific.

Chris Brennan

Route Development Manager, Asia | A.N. Deringer, Inc.

Chris Brennan currently serves as Deringer's Route Development Manager for Asia/Pacific. In this role, Chris manages Deringer's Asia/Pacific trade lane, including oversight of overseas partnerships, rate negotiations, and customer support.

In his 15 years of logistics experience, Chris has had roles of increasing responsibility--from Rate Specialist to Corporate Line Manager to Route Development. He has focused on LCL/FCL procurement, as well as contract negotiations with direct carriers and co-loaders with volumes ranging from 25 TWU to 10,000 TEU.
