Donna Kavanaugh has a logistics career spanning more than 22 years. Currently, she is a Compliance Manager for Deringer’s Compliance team. Donna obtained her Custom House Broker License in 1996, and she is also a Certified U.S. Export Compliance Officer, Certified Customs Specialist, and a Certified Export Specialist.
Donna holds current Hazmat certifications meeting the requirements of the International Air Transport Association (IATA), International Maritime Dangerous Goods (IMDG), and the Department of Transportation’s Title 49 Code of Federal Regulations. Ms. Kavanaugh received her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management and Economics from Empire State College in 2006.

Shannon started with Deringer in 2012 as the Export Supervisor. She now manages full-service operations for export and import transportation for both air and ocean modes of transport, in addition to the U.S. Customs brokerage for air/ocean. Prior to joining Deringer, Shannon worked extensively in the manufacturing industry
Shannon is a Certified Export Specialist (CES), Certified Customs Specialist (CCS), Licensed Customs Broker (LCB), and has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from Northwood University in Midland, MI. She is a current member of the Detroit Customs Broker and Forwarders Association (DCBFA) and the Detroit Intermodal Association (DIA).
